This summer, TDK Mediactive will take gamers to a land where humans and dinosaurs co-exist with Dinotopia: The Sunstone Odyssey for Xbox and Nintendo GameCube. The action/adventure title will feature a unique blend of puzzle, RPG and exploration elements.
Based on author James Gurney’s Dinotopia book series and ABC’s miniseries and subsequent series, Dinotopia: The Sunstone Odyssey has players defending the mysterious island kingdom from a rogue group of thugs. Players aid Drake Gemini in his quest to reunite his family and become a Guardian of Dinotopia.
Gameplay spans swamps, villages, ancient jungle ruins and a town nestled in a forest canopy. A flying dinosaur called a Skybax provides air travel, while the robotic beast known as a Strutter covers ground along tropical trails.
The licensing agreement between Dinotopia and TDK Mediactive was arranged through Dinotopia’s licensing agency, The Beanstalk Group.
