Sparx* and Sparkling* are heading to MIPTV with Zoe Kezako, a new cartoon series based on the works of French childrens author Véronique Saüquère. The computer-animated show is a co-production of Sparkling*, TF1 and TELETOON TPS Jeunesse, with keyframe animation produced by Sparx*.
Zoe is an assertive and inquisitive seven-year-old girl who gains vital experience and learns important lessons about life in each episode. Kezako is French for "What is it?"
The first season of the 26×13 show will air on Frances TF1 in September 2004. It will then debut on Swedens SVT, Norways Nordisk Film, Denmarks DR, Belgiums RTBF, Canadas Radio Canada and Frances Teletoon in 2005.
Merchandising for Zoe Kezako is being handled by TFI in France and SVT in Scandinavian territories.
