BKN Revisits Ali Baba Tale

BKN International A.G. will soon begin production on a new animated series titled Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves: The Lost Scimitar of Arabia. The show is created by Richard Ungar and Sean Derek and will be developed in part in the U.K. under the leadership of David Freedman. Ungar will serve as exec producer.

As part of its global marketing plan, BKN is in negotiations with a media company in the Middle East to co-produce and distribute the program. Worldwide distribution is planned for early autumn 2005 with an initial production schedule of 26 episodes. Senior management will coordinate and control the production process from BKN’s London office.

BKN has also announced today that it is issuing up to 4,502,161 new shares in order to raise up to €17.01 million. €5.2 million of that will be used to fund production of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves: the Lost Scimitar of Arabia.
