Stephanie van Bruggen has been promoted to supervising producer at Breakthrough Animation. Reporting to Kevin Gillis, exec producer/managing partner, she will oversee the company’s animated projects including Atomic Betty, Miss BG, Captain Flamingo, Jimmy Two Shoes and the new primetime adult toon Producing Emily. The promotion is one of three announced at Breakthrough Films &Television.
Van Bruggen has worked in animation production for more than ten years and has been with Breakthrough Animation since the company’s inception in 2003, line producing more than 160 episodes of television. Prior to joining Breakthrough, van Bruggen worked at Nelvana and Mainframe Ent. (now Rainmaker).
Other appointments at Breakthrough Films & Television include Alethea Robinson as manager of marketing and communications, Amy Marcella as supervising producer and Paul Nash as art director.
