Having made fun of wholly deserving B movies on the cult-favorite SCI FI Channel series Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K), Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy and Michael J. Nelson have turned to animation for their latest spoof fest. The trio poke fun at the superhero genre with Max the Hero, a 13-minute web cartoon about a regular Joe who develops amazing powers when he eats seven-year-old sandwich and becomes the envy of his mad scientist friend.
Written and performed by Corbett, Murphy and Nelson, Max the Hero was produced and directed by Mike Salva in Nashville. The music was created by Hoodwinked composer John Mark Painter and by singer/musician Corn Mo.
