New animated series, pilots, TV specials, short films and a social or educational productions are being sought for the 2008 edition of Cartoons on the Bay, an international exhibition of TV animation. Organizers have set an entry deadline of Jan. 15.
Every year, RAI Trade, through its connection with the national Italian TV and radio broadcasting company RAI-Radiotelevisione Italiana, organizes Cartoons on the Bay in order to bring creators and producers from around the world together to celebrate art and entertainment, and to provide buyers, TV distributors and executives access to a wide range of programs.
Tiger Aspect Prods.’ Charlie and Lola and Futurikon’s Miniscule were among the big winners of the 2007 Cartoons on the Bay, held in Solerno, Italy in April. Entry forms for the 12th annual festival and market can be found at www.cartoonsbay.com.
