Cartoon Network’s 3D-animated action series Storm Hawks is making its way to home video with two separate volumes set for release on Jan. 15 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Storm Hawks’Hawks Rise Again and Storm Hawks’Tales From The Atmos will each feature four episodes and one exclusive bonus installment of the popular show from Nerd Corp. Ent.
Storm Hawks is the saga of five mismatched teens and their strange, furry sidekick, who defend the people of Atmos against an evil oppressor. Long after the original Sky Knights were taken out of commission by the dark forces of Cyclonia, our heroes stumble upon their technology and take up the quest to patrol the roadways and skyways in a bid to thwart villains on transforming flying motorcycles.
Each DVD volume has an approximated running time of 110 minutes and will come with a collectible, limited-edition Storm Hawks comic book in a foil and embossed O-ring. Other bonus features will include a montage of the Storm Hawks and their weapons, as well as a look at the Cyclonians and their instruments of evil. The releases will each carry a suggested retail price of $16.97.
