If you’re a fan of iconic cartoon crooners and spending days at sea, Carnival Cruise Lines has just the thing for you. The company has teamed with Jason Coleman Inc., a producer of celebrity-hosted cruises, to offer the first fully licensed specialty cruise with a Betty Boop theme. The Betty Boop Fan Cruise is a five-day trip aboard the ‘Fun Ship’ Carnival Elation. The voyage departs from San Diego, Calif., on Oct. 9., and will visit Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico.

In addition to seeing the sights, voyagers will have the opportunity to take part in special Betty Boop events, screenings and parties, and learn about the latest Boop collectibles and apparel to look for in 2008 and 2009. Each guest will also receive a special gift bag with Betty Boop goodies, news, and more. In addition, there will be a special photo, autograph, and Q&A event hosted by Mark Fleischer, president of Fleischer Studios and grandson of animation pioneer and Betty Boop creator Max Fleischer.
