German public television channel KI.KA and European Film Partners (EFP) of The Netherlands have signed on to become the latest co-production partners on Chloe’s Closet, a new animated preschool series from Mike Young Prods. (MYP). Joining series co-producers S4C, Trickompany, Animation Dimension and Telegael, EFP will also serve as distribution agent on a variety of MYP and MoonScoop-produced shows in Benelux, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Chloe’s Closet follows the adventures of an adorable, imaginative little girl who discovers magical new worlds while playing dress-up in her closet. With each new costume she tries on, Chloe is swept away on a fantastical journey with her best friend and constant companion, a security blanket named Lovely Carrot. The show will be produced at studios in Wales, Germany, India and Ireland.
KI.KA and MYP originally co-developed Chole’s Closet, the latest in their series of award-winning German-U.K.-U.S. co-productions. The two entities previously teamed for the successful animated kids’ shows Dive Olly Dive! and Cosmic Quantum Ray. Other MYP properties include Pet Alien, ToddWorld, Growing Up Creepie, I Got A Rocket and the Emmy- and British Academy Award-winning Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks.
