Cartoon Net Ups Isenhower to Programming SVP

Stacy Isenhower has been promoted to senior VP of programming and scheduling at Cartoon Network. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day scheduling and strategic positioning of all on-air content for Cartoon Network and Boomerang, as well as on-air promotion for Adult Swim. Her duties will also include overseeing the scheduling of each network’s long-range, on-air promotional calendar, incorporating all on-air promotion strategies and placement. Isenhower will continue to work in Atlanta, reporting directly to Stuart Snyder, president and chief operating officer for Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media group.

Isenhower previously served as VP of research for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Adult Swim. She responsible for managing all aspects of network research, including organizing, analyzing and reporting on audience ratings and delivery information. In addition, she provided salient research information for Cartoon Network New Media, which markets and distributes network programming to non-traditional media sources such as wireless, broadband and interactive television. Isenhower also supervised all consumer focus group testing and other quantitative studies, including annual brand studies and syndicated research.

After joining Cartoon Network in 1997, Isenhower served two years as a senior research analyst. In 1999, she briefly joined NBC Cable News as a senior analyst, providing research services for MSNBC and CNBC. In late 2000, she returned to Cartoon Network as a director of research and was promoted to VP of the department in 2003.
