Woody Woodpecker and Friends Classic Cartoon Collection Vol. 2 offer 75 classic theatrical cartoons from the Walter Lantz archive, including three Academy Award nominees. Uncut and digitally re-mastered, the rare Musical Miniature and Swing Symphony shorts are joined by appearances by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Windy the Bear, Maggie and Sam and Inspector Willoughby. Bonus features include Behind the Scenes with Walter Lantz, offering 12 live-action segments from The Woody Woodpecker Show; A Full episode of The Woody Woodpecker Show featuring Woody, Inspector Willoughby and the Beary Family; and rare Walter Lantz TV pilot episodes of Secret Weapon starring Space Mouse and Jungle Medics starring Sam ‘n’ Simian.
The SpongeBob SquarePants ‘Pest of the West’ episode aired on April 11 and is now packaged with other installments for repeat viewings at home. In this new adventure, the Old West comes to Bikini Bottom as our yellow hero researches his family tree and finds out that he’s related to a great Western hero. Filling out the 75-minute run time are the additional episodes ‘Banned in Bikini Bottom,’ ‘Stanley S. SquarePants,’ ‘Pat No pay,’ ‘The Two Faces of Squidward,’ ‘20,000 Leauges Under the Sea’ and ‘The Inmates of Summer.’
