BRB’s animated children’s series Angus & Cheryl has been picked up by Spain’s Televisό de Catalunya and will premiere on Channel K3 on Monday, June 23. Co-produced with Screen 21, Tuba Ent. and Televisi’ de Catalunya The guys vs. gals show will air in open-broadcast format Monday through Friday at 9:30 p.m.
It will also be shown in Spain on Nickelodeon in different time slots and in other countries such as France (also on Nickelodeon) and Russia (on 5 Channel).
Consisting of 104 two-minute CG-animated episodes, the dialogue-free Angus & Cheryl offers a fun look at the daily clashes in any boy-girl relationship, and explores universal truths through the conflicting personalities of Angus, who is very simple and direct, and Cheryl, who is complex and devious.
