Monster Distributes has launched the dialogue-free, animated series Gazoon in more regions around the world. Broadcasters to pick up the show include NRK in Norway, Cartoon Network Japan, TV2 in Denmark, YLE in Finland, and Voxell for the Russia Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Krgyzstan, Tajikistan, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The series has also been licensed by Jim Jam for Pan Europe and Asia, and airlines in Portugal, Asia and the Middle East.
Made for kids 4-10, Gazoon (39×3:30) employs wacky cartoon humor with a tender and surreal touch to follow a group of wild animals living in the African savanna. Produced by Sparkling and co-produced with TF1 France, the series is Monster’s first property to issue from France and is also its fastest-selling series ever. It ha previously been sold to Rai in Italy and Entertainment Unlimited in South Africa.
