Want to see new footage from Universal’s next Mummy movie and order pizza at the same time? You’re in luck because the latest trailer for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor has premiered on the Papa Johns website. Directed by Rob Cohen (Stealth, The Fast and the Furious), the pic debuts in theaters on Aug. 1 and may end up being a big summer hit, especially with the latest Indiana Jones movie leaving something to be desired for many adventure fans.
Star Brendan Fraser is joined in this new adventure by Maria Bello, who has taken over the role played by Rachel Weiss in the first two films, and relative newcomer Luke Ford as their grown-up son, Alex O’Connell. Rhythm & Hues and Digital Domain handled the lion’s share of the visual effects work, and martial arts star Jet Li brings some of his own physical fireworks to the role of the resurrected Dragon Emperor.

The trailer is also available for viewing at www.robcohenthemummy.com, which features the director’s production blog and behind -the-scenes videos that include a inside look at the visual effects process.
