AOL announced the launch of BigDownload.com, a new content and service site for the PC gaming audience. The first joint project between AOL Games and Weblogs Inc. (www.weblogsinc.com), the site provides free downloads, game demos, game reviews, trailers, industry news and other content powered by Weblogs’ flagship gaming brand, Joystiq.com.

The new site is expected to help AOL Games continue to grow at an impressive rate. The service reports a 61% increase in page views, and a 32% rise in unique visitors over last year. AOL Games also runs popular gaming site GameDaily.com.
