Hulk Hits Home

While it didn’t pull Dark Knight or Iron Man numbers, Marvel Studios’ The Incredible Hulk earned roughly $262 million worldwide during its theatrical run, and should be a smash hit on home video this week. The movie is available on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and as a three-disc special edition loaded with bonus features.

The Incredible Hulk stars Edward Norton as the beleaguered Bruce Banner, who desperately seeks a cure for the condition that turns him into the green monster known as the Hulk. The pic also stars Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt and Tim Blake Nelson, as well as a CG-animated Hulk created by vfx house Rhythm & Hues.

DVD bonus materials include deleted scenes and feature-length commentary with director Louis Leterrier and actor Tim Roth. The three-disc special edition also adds the featurettes The Making of Incredible Hulk, Becoming the Abomination, From Comic Book to Screen, Becoming the Hulk and Anatomy of a Hulk-Out. Those who purchase the Blu-ray version can also enjoy U-Control interactive features including an animated comic and a comic-book gallery, as well as chat and exclusive, behind-the-scenes content available via BD-Live.
