Activision president Mike Griffith announced the company will release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the fourth quarter of 2009.
According to a report on MCV, the company expects the game to be one of the most anticipated of the year. No further details on the game were released.
“2009 is going to be a very exciting year for the franchise as we expect this year’s launch is likely going to be the most anticipated title of all of 2009,’ Griffith told investors during an earnings conference call.
