Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. is negotiating with Casino Royale director Martin Campbell about helming the DC Comics adaptation Green Lantern.
Campbell would direct a script from Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green, and featuring the Hal Jordan version of the character. Berlanti and Donald De Line are set to produce.
Move indicates Warner Bros. is finally ready to exploit the deep catalog of DC heroes beyond Batman and Superman.
