Battle for Terra has come to Moviefone. The movie website debuted the full trailer for the CG animated film, which will be released May 1 by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions in both 2-D and 3-D formats.
Directed by Aristomenis Tsirbas and written by Evan Spillotopoulos, the CG-animated project won the the Grand Prize for Best Animated Feature at last year’s Ottawa Animation Festival. The movie follows the epic tale of the inhabitants of an alien planet who encounter the arrival of the last remaining members of the human race. Mala, a rebellious teenager from planet Terra will do everything she can to save her world from an invasion from Earth. Produced by Snoot Entertainment, the movie features the voices of Dennis Quaid, James Garner, Justin Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Brian Cox, Chris Evans and Luke Wilson.
