The Hangover woke up to good news Monday, as final reports from the weekend box office put it ahead of Up and atop the charts.
Returns for The Hangover were better than expected on Sunday, pushing the film to an opening weekend gross of $44.9 million.
That was enough to just barely best Disney-Pixar’s Up, which took in $44.1 million and had by most early accounts won the weekend.
