Mip Junior is adding a new juried competition for children’s animated programs.
Deadline for entries is Sept. 2. A panel of 18 children from the International School of Nice will choose the winners and give the producers direct feedback from their target audience.
The confab’s media partners will select five programs to compete in each of the three categories, which are:
‘ Preschool (3-6 years old)
‘ Kids (7-10 years old)
‘ Tweens (11-14 years old).
The prizes for the winners include one complimentary entry to Mip Junior 2010, free upload of the winning program to the Mip Junior 2010 digital library, editorial coverage in the Mipcom Daily News and a banner on the Mip Junior 2010 website.
