Nick Jr. U.K. has picked up Alphabet Romp, a series of 26 interstitials that constitute the first broadcast commission for creators Purple Frog Media.
The series ‘aimed at preschoolers and featuring poems, raps and rhymes for each letter of the alphabet ‘ will be animated by Trevor Hardy of Foolhardy films. It is set to begin airing later this year.
‘We’re delighted to bring Alphabet Romp to life on Nick Jr.,’ says Peter Drake, Nick Jr.’s VP and creative director. ‘It’s a lovely, simple concept, which will become a great educational tool for parents and fantastic claymation fun for our preschool audience.’
Purple Frog holds all ancillary rights to the property.
