Three short films from the National Film Board of Canada are set to screen at the 34th Toronto International Film Festival next month.
The films ‘ set to screen in the Short Cuts Canada section ‘ include:
‘ Runaway, a satire by Cordell Barker that won the Petit Rail d’Or at the Cannes International Film Festival and a Special Jury Prize at the Annecy Animation Festival.
‘ Vive la Rose, a recently completed film from director Bruce Alcock.
‘ The Spine, the most recent film from Oscar winner Chris Landreth. The Spine was a hit at Annecy and won Best of the Festival at the Melbourne Animation Festival.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs from Sept. 10-19.
