Italian sticker and stationery company Panini has obtained a multi-year license to Atlantyca Entertainment’s new Geronimo Stilton series.
Panini will co-ordinate the release of its licensed products with the debut of the animated series on Italian broadcaster Rai later this month. Panini will make stickers, sticker books, sticker sheets and albums.
‘Panini is considered an absolute market leader in collectibles and stationary products,’ said Atlantyca’s director of licensing, Maria Giovanna Gurrieri. ‘We are thrilled to be partnering with them on this, our flagship animated property.’
The animated series, based on a popular children’s book series, is a co-production with France-based Moonscoop and is in the final phases of production.
