Where to find the newest opportunities in animation will be the focus of a presentation at the USC Gould School of Law and Beverly Hills Bar Association’s 2009 Institute on Entertainment Law and Business conference, set for this Saturday.
The animation panel, moderated by Thomas Sito of the Hollywood Animation Guild, International Animated Film Society and adjunct professor in the USC School of Cinema Arts, will cover topics surrounding technical advancements, creativity, and opportunities in new media.
The panel is set for 9 a.m. this Saturday, Oct. 17, at USC’s Bovard Auditorium.
The conference’s other highlights include a lunchtime keynote address from Robert Iger, president and CEO of the Walt Disney Co., a panel on the future of agencies with the heads of four major talent agencies, and a look at the new music landscape.
The cost for the conference is $340 for the general public. Students will be charged $100 for the conference.
