Mia and the Migoo wins 1st EFA Animated Feature Award

Mia and the Migoo has won the inaugural Best Animated Feature Film honor at the European Film Awards.

The film, directed by Jacques-Remy Girerd, is a co-production between France (Folimage, France 3 Cin’ma, Rhone-Alpes Cinema, Bayard Presse) and Italy (Enanimation, Gertie).

It beat out fellow nominees Niko & the Way to the Stars and The Secret of Kells.

The awards were presented Dec. 12 in Germany.
