Actors Robin Williams and Elijah Wood are in talks to reprise their roles in a sequel to the Oscar-winning animated film Happy Feet.
The sequel will be written by and again directed by George Miller. Australia-based Animal Logic is producing the animation again, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original film, released in 2006, grossed $384 million worldwide and was one of the most acclaimed animated features of the year. It beat out the Pixar film Cars as the odds-on favorite for that year’s animated feature Oscar.
A 2011 release date is expected for the film
