Cartoon Network has set the premiere of the original animated series Adventure Time with Finn & Jake for April 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Created by Pendleton Ward, the series follows the adventures of a pair of unlikely heroes ‘ a boy and a dog ‘ in the Land of Ooo. Each episode of the show will feature two segments, with the debut episode featuring the stories ‘Slumber Party Panic’ and ‘Trouble in Lumpy Space.’
Adventure Time with Finn & Jake is produced in partnership with Frederator Studios with Fred Seibert serving as an executive producer on the series. The premiere season will feature celebrity voices including Henry Rollins, Mark Hamill, George Takei, Lou Ferrigno and Erik Estrada.
Fans of the show can access clips and downloads for the show on the official site www.itsadventuretime.com, as well as play the new online game Adventure Time: Righteous Quest, which is set to launch on March 8.
