Ludorum has tapped Megan Buecher as its new director of licensing for the United States and Canada, responsible for the Chuggington franchise.
Buecher previously worked for United Media, where she oversaw the apparel and accessories categories and assisted with retail development for brands such as Peanuts, Fancy Nancy and Rainbow Brite.
Her career also includes stints with Gullane and HIT Entertainment working with Thomas the Tank Engine, The Wiggles and Angelina Ballerina.
‘I am excited to expand the Chuggington licensing program in both the U.S. and Canada, especially since parents are eagerly looking for products, from apparel to party supplies,’ says Buecher. ‘With the show being so new to the U.S., the opportunities that lie ahead are limitless.’
