Cloudy Duo Clicks with Lego Movie

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs writers and directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord are building themselves a deal to direct a Lego movie for Warner Bros, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The pair is in final negotiations to direct the movie, which would be a hybrid of live action and animation.

The pair reportedly won over execs for the famous Danish toymaker at a Lego convention in Fremont.

Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing the Lego movie, with Jill Wilfert of Lego on board as executive producer.

Miller and Lord also have a live-action adaptation of the Fox TV series 21 Jump Street set up at Columbia that they are expected to make before Lego.
