France Televisions has acquired a trio of 3D animated series to broadcast on its website, according to Variety.
The series are:
‘ Charlot, based on the films of Charlie Chaplin, this 104 x 6 min. series is set up at Method Animation and co-produced by MK2 and DQ Entertainment.
‘ Peter Pan, which consists of 26 half-hours and is a co-production of Method and DQ.
‘ Loopdidoo’s Zany Christmas is preschool series based on the comic book Grabouillon by Alex Nesme. It is co-produced by Blue Spirit Animation and France 3.
The trade reports that France Televisions will promote the series by airing on Christmas Day the two-part Loopdidoo’s Zany Christmas on Ludo Web TV, while the CGI version of the show airs on France 3 TV.
The 3D glasses for the series will be distributed with a magazine that will go on sale a few weeks before the series go live.
