An annual study conduced by France’s Centre National du Cinema has shown Marathon Media and its sister company Tele Images Kids as the most prolific animation producers in that country for the year 2009.
The report, first released at the just-concluded Annecy International Animated Film Festival, shows the two companies had 52 hours of animation in production last year. That accounts for just under 15 percent of the total produced in France.
Among the series Marathon produced are Gormiti, The Amazing Spiez! and Monster Buster Club, while Tele Images Kids had Sally Bollywood and Street Football 3.
