Pocoyo Tops 100 Licensees

The award-winning animated series Pocoyo has signed deals that put the total number of licensees for the show at more than 100.

The 104 x 7 min. series co-produced by Zinkia and ITV Studios Global Entertainment, has added deals in Europe with such licensees as: Panini for a monthly magazine starting in September; Supergrass for computer accessories; Ideal Casa for home ware and accessories, Dolci Preziosi for chocolate eggs; and Dr. Play for themed playgrounds in Spain.

So far the property has racked up more than 1,500 references in the market, covering all categories.

The series airs in the United States on Nick Jr., and is broadcast in more than 100 territories.

‘ITV Studios is thrilled that Pocoyo has secured so many quality licensing partners. Pocoyo is a great show, endorsing curiosity and tolerance, imagination, love and laughter, and it has a great future ahead of it,’ says Marina Lum-Kang, senior VP of brand extensions and integrated marketing at ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
