The Russian media companies Noviy Disk and Marmelad Media have acquired from Telescreen all media and merchandising rights to the TV series and licensing brand Dibo ‘ The Gift Dragon for the Russian market.
Telescreen will collaborate closely with both firms in exploiting all rights in Russia and the CIS states.
Noviy Disk, as one of the leading suppliers of video games and DVDs in Russia, will be responsible for the TV and home entertainment sectors.
Marmelad Media is the first Russian brand management company that offers all of its services and products from one source ‘ from production to marketing and promotion. It intends to create a comprehensive program of merchandising products. Marmelad Media became well-known in Russia through its successful Gogoriki (Smeshariki) animated series.
The 52 x 11 min. preschool series is from the Korean studio Ocon Animation.
