Cleveland Show Headed to Adult Swim, TBS

Turner has bought the off-net rights to The Cleveland Show, which it will both on TBS and Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block.

The show, a spin-off of the popular Family Guy series, was co-created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry and Rich Appel. Family Guy already airs in a similar fashion on both networks, while MacFarlane’s other series American Dad! airs on Adult Swim.

Variety reports the deal was worth about $500,000 per episode, though neither Turner nor distributor Twentieth Television would confirm.

The Cleveland Show is expected to start airing on both networks in 2013.
