CN Taps O’Neill as Scheduling Executive

Cartoon Network has tapped former Disney executive Rob O’Neill for the new position of VP program scheduling.

O’Neill will supervise day-to-day on-air program scheduling for both Cartoon Network and Boomerang, as well as lead long-range calendar planning and develop strategies for on-air stunts and special events based on the networks’ properties. He will be based in Atlanta and reports to Stacey Isenhower, senior VP of programming and scheduling for Cartoon Network and Boomerang.

O’Neill’s previous experience includes 13 years at Disney ABC Cable Networks Group in the programming strategy and acquisitions department.

‘Rob brings with him a well-deserved reputation for professionalism and creativity within our industry,” said Isenhower. “We are delighted that he has moved to Atlanta for a new challenge working with Cartoon Network and Boomerang.”
