Fox Home Entertainment is bringing to DVD an episode of Family Guy deemed too controversial for TV.
The episode, titled ‘Partial Terms of Endearment,’ featured a story in which Lois considers getting an abortion after the couple she was serving as a surrogate mother for dies in a car crash.
Fox decided the material was too controversial to broadcast, but left open the door for a home video release.
Originally meant to air last season, the episode will arrive on a single-disc DVD on Sept. 28.
