Reveille Plans Animated Series for TV, Web

Live-action production company Reveille is looking to create animated programming for TV, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The company responsible for the likes of The Biggest Loser and The Office has teamed up with Mechem Media to create family-oriented animation for TV and the web.

Mechem Media was founded by Charles Mechem, the former CEO of the company that owned Hanna-Barbera. Mechem also has Neal Barbera and several other former Hanna-Barbera executives and writers on board.

The first project planned is The Gloomers, a comedy series about the unluckiest family in the world living next door to the luckiest.
