He’s smarter than the average bear ‘ he’s Yogi Bear and Warner Bros. has officially kicked off the countdown to his live-action big-screen debut.
First, there’s a poster for the new feature, a mix of live-action and CG animation that features the voices of Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear and Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo. The film also stars Tom Cavanaugh as Ranger Smith and Anna Faris. Directed by Eric Brevig, Warner Bros. is set to release the movie on Dec. 17.

The movie is, of course, based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon that originated in the early 1960s about a talking bear and his sidekick who outwit Ranger Smith to steal picnic baskets in Jellystone Park.
