The Hub Announces New Series Voice Casts

New kids and family channel The Hub has announced a large number of stars ‘ ranging fro Betty White and Lee Majors to Eric McCormack and Dave Foley ‘ have been cast in new animated shows that will be a part of its programming when it launches in October.

The stars lined up to provide voices for the channel’s animated series includes:

Pound Puppies: Betty White, Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), Michael Rapaport (Prison Break), John DiMaggio (Futurama), Alanna Ubach (Hung), Rene Auberjonois (Boston Legal) and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community). Produced by Hasbro Studios.

The Adventures of Chuck and Friends: Lauren Holly. Produced by Hasbro Studios.

Transformers Prime: Peter Cullen (Transformers Trilogy), Frank Welker (Transformers Trilogy), Gina Torres (MAD TV), James Remer (Dexter), Josh Keaton (Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths), Kevin Michael Richardson (The Batman), Markie Post (The Fall Guy). Produced by Hasbro Studios.

Dan Vs.: Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds), Dave Foley (The Kids in the Hall), Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds), Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross (both of Family Ties). Produced by Film Roman.

G.I. Joe Renegades: Charlie Adler (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Lee Majors (Six Million Dollar Man), Clancy Brown (Shawshank Redemption), Jason Marsden (Batman: The Brave and the Bold), Johnny Messner (Tears of the Sun) and Kevin Michael Richardson (The Batman). CEO Margaret Loesch announced the network has acquired several animated series for the network, including G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and Transformers Generation 1.

Set to launch on Oct. 10, on the channel space currently held by Discovery Kids, The Hub will initially be available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households.
