Sinking Ship Entertainment (SSE) has acquired the international distribution rights to the animated series Superbuns, created by Emmy Award-winning writer/director Diane Kredensor. Based on the picture books by Kredensor, Superbuns is described as a laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy about the power of kindness, with a bunny in a cape to prove it.
Aimed at kids aged four to seven, each seven-minute episode follows Buns Bunny — better known as Superbuns — who believes that being kind is never a waste of time. Alongside her fact-loving sister Blossom and a whimsical cast of animal friends, Superbuns saves the day through empathy, heart, and some truly hilarious pratfalls.

Commissioned by Peacock in the U.S., the series was recently nominated for a 2025 Kidscreen Award for Best Animated Series. SSE has acquired all international media rights to the property, which will join the company’s catalog of award-winning children’s properties, including the new series Dino Dex and Odd Squad UK.
