Viva Kids today released the full length trailer for the upcoming animated family film Pets on a Train. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film festival in June, the CG-animated adventure speeds into theaters across North American on October 17.
Synopsis: When a crew of animal bandits embark on a fairly routine swindle, they find themselves caught up in a high-tech, professional train heist. It’s up to Falcon, a petty thief raccoon and Rex, a righteous police-dog, to save the animals stuck onboard this high-speed runway train.
“Pets on a Train delivers pure fun for all ages,” said Victor Elizalde, CEO of Viva Pictures. “We’re thrilled to bring this high-energy, heartwarming adventure to theaters, giving families a reason to experience films together especially on the big screen.”
The movie is directed by Benoît Daffis (Pil, Terra Willy) and Jean-Christian Tassy (The Jungle Bunch: World Tour, Pil) and produced by Tat Productions (Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight, The Jungle Bunch: World Tour, Epic Tails).
The film was released in France on July 2 to positive reviews, with critics praising it as “A lively, colorful and generous animated film” (AVoir ALire) and “A captivating adventure, beautifully animated in 3D” (Télérama) with “enough action all along, with its share of twists and turns, to make for a great time” (Le Monde).
