Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, Fallout), Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty, American Dad!), Ron Funches (Inside Out 2, Loot) and Shondrella Avery (Napoleon Dynamite, Thelma the Unicorn) have joined the animated comedy/sci-fi feature film Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture (HMMCF), from director, co-writer and producer Michael Skolnick (The Gilksmans).
This group joins the previously announced cast of Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls, Bob’s Burgers), Andy Richter (Conan, Madagascar), Matt Walsh (Veep, Flamin’ Hot), Seth Green (Family Guy, Robot Chicken), Pamela Adlon (Better Things, King of the Hill), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk, King of Queens) and Clare Grant (Hanky Panky). Riley Hamilton (Saturday Morning All Star Hits!, The Eric Andre Show) is casting director on the project.
Synopsis: It’s 1962 and radiation from atomic weapons testing has awakened an unlikely new species … mid-century furniture. Harry, a grieving ten-year-old boy, must join forces with a wise old recliner and a feisty ottoman to save their furniture friends from the destructive plans of a power-hungry Army General Frank Holtzman.
Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture is directed by Skolnick and written and produced by Skolnick, Keegan Cotton, Jordan Lewandowski and Seth Morton. The film is currently in production and is expected to wrap at the end of 2026. Worldwide distribution rights are currently available.
