Nickelodeon has added the hit animated series Unicorn Academy and Vida the Vet, from Spin Master Entertainment, to its programming lineup beginning July. This marks the series’ respective linear debuts in the U.S. — Unicorn Academy on Nickelodeon and Vida the Vet on the Nick Jr. channel.
Vida the Vet centers on 10-year-old Vida, a passionate and curious animal lover who has always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. When her family relocates from a bustling city to the tranquil town of Sweetwood, Vida’s dream becomes a reality. With endless compassion and an adventurous spirit, Vida helps animals of all shapes and sizes, proving that empathy and kindness can make a world of difference. Season 1 episodes of Vida the Vet will continue to air Monday-Thursday at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) on the Nick Jr. channel for the month of July.

The fantasy-adventure series Unicorn Academy follows Sophia and her classmates at a magical boarding school on Unicorn Island, where they must bond with their unicorns to unlock their magical powers. The students must protect the island and its magic while also navigating the challenges of friendships, rivalries and teen life. Episodes from the first season of Unicorn Academy will continue to roll out for four consecutive weeks on Sundays at 9 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
Nick fans were also treated to a new poster for the upcoming theatrical release The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, with the trailer due to drop tomorrow (Wednesday, July 9). Presented by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies in association with Domain Entertainment and MRC, the animated feature will hit theaters on December 19.
Search for SquarePants is directed by Derek Drymon (Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania), a longtime writer on the SpongeBob franchise. The screenplay is by Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman, from a story by Marc Ceccarelli & Kaz and Pam Brady. The series voice cast — Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence and Mr. Lawrence — are joined by George Lopez, Isis “Ice Spice” Gaston, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola with Regina Hall and Mark Hamill.
