Mom! Phineas and Ferb are back at San Diego Comic-Con!!!
Friday’s programming lineup featured the long-awaited return of the hit Disney animated series Phineas and Ferb to SDCC, for the first time since the show’s 2015 “finale.” A packed crowd full of show-inspired cosplayers of all ages were among the first to get the scoop on the step brothers’ new shorts series, and the good news that the series will return with more new episodes on Disney Channel and Disney in 2026.
The show’s iconic theme song kicked off the reunion panel: Co-creators Dan Povenmire (who also voices Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (voice of Major Francis Monogram) along with cast Vincent Martella (Phineas Flynn), David Errigo Jr. (Ferb Fletcher), Ashley Tisdale (Candace Flynn), Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus) and Alyson Stoner (Isabella Garcia-Shapiro) shared memories of their favorite moments, reflected on their lives since the 2007 premiere, and teased upcoming adventures for the Flynn-Fletcher family and their friends.

With a special video intro by Kylie Cantrall (Descendants: The Rise of Red), star of the inaugural episode, fans got the world premiere of Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb, a new series of shorts where the boys transform real-life celebrities into cartoons to go on hilarious adventures together. The shorts will also feature Mark Rober, Avantika, Brittany Broski, Walker Scobell and Xochitl Gomez, with more episodes rolling out later this year on Disney Channel and its digital platforms.
One fan — attending as Bobbi Fabulous — took home the grand prize of the event: the first-ever Phineas and Ferb Funko Pop! set, months before its official release this fall (currently on pre-order). As the panel wrapped, attendees lined up to ask the cast questions.
