The Pinkfong Company (Baby Shark) today announced the launch of Season 2 of Sealook, its original non-dialog animated comedy, co-produced with Million Volt. New episodes will premiere weekly on YouTube, starting Friday, August 1.
Season 2 consists of 11 episodes, each approximately eight minutes long, offering an expanded narrative structure and deeper emotional resonance between characters. The new season dives deeper into relatable themes from everyday life — ranging from idol seal fandoms and dating reality parodies to encounters with a mysterious observer.
Since its debut in November 2022, Sealook has become a breakout hit among Gen Z and Millennial viewers. The series has gained over 1.8 billion views and grown its official YouTube channel to over 9 million subscribers, earning the Gold Creator Award within just four months of its launch. Including over 630 million views on Tencent Video and more than 377 million views across social channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X; Sealook has surpassed a total of 2.8 billion views across all platforms as of July 2025. It has also topped charts across global platforms, ranking #1 on Weibo Animation and achieving record-breaking viewership in multiple regions.
“Sealook‘s phenomenal growth demonstrates the power of universal storytelling through comedy,” said Bitna Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer at The Pinkfong Company. “With Season 2, we’re diving deeper into stories and relationships that make our characters more lovable than ever, while continuing to deliver laughs for audiences around the world.”
The series is further expanding its presence across major global platforms. Season 2 premiered on Tencent Video on July 29, with the first five episodes released simultaneously.
To celebrate the new season, The Pinkfong Company will host a series of fan engagement events across social media, including watch & win giveaways, fan art contests and other interactive activations.
Official Sealook merchandise is now available on the SEALOOK Shop.
