‘Grand Prix of Europe’ Shifts Gear with New U.S. Release Date & Trailer

Grand Prix of Europe [Viva Kids]

Distributor Viva Kids revealed today that the North American theatrical release of the fast & furry animal road rally adventure Grand Prix of Europe has set a course for a new date on August 29, having previously been slated for Aug. 22. The family-friendly CG flick follows a daring young driver on an epic quest to burn rubber across the continent and save the day.

A new trailer for the NorAm theatrical run was released today with the date change news.

Synopsis: Grand Prix of Europe revolves around Edda, a young mouse, who dreams of racing glory. What starts as a daring stunt becomes the ride of her life as she takes Ed’s place in competition. The prize money would save her family’s amusement park and a win would save Ed’s title.

The English-language voice cast features Gemma Arterton (Moley, The Girl with All the Gifts) as Edda, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Wolf Hall, Thunderbirds Are Go) as Ed, Hayley Atwell (Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, MCU’s Peggy Carter) as Cindy, Lenny Henry (Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) as Erwin and comedian Rob Beckett (Epic Tails, Meet the Richardsons) as Enzo.
