‘Knights of Guinevere’ Full Trailer Arrives Ahead of Animated Thriller’s Pilot Debut

Pioneering teen and young adult-focused animation studio Glitch Productions has released the official trailer for Knights of Guinevere the buzzy new 2D series blending fairytale fantasy and creeping sci-fi terror, created by The Owl House alums Dana Terrace, John Baily Owen and Zach Marcus. The preview reveals that a pilot episode for the series will arrive on the Glitch channel on September 19.

Logline: Knights of Guinevere is a psychological thriller that welcomes you to a planet-wide theme park in the clouds!… And the shadows below, where a broken Princess Android is two dreamers’ tickets to better lives, or the end of them…

A teaser for Knights of Guinevere offer a first taste of the project at the beginning of the year.

Founded in 2017 by brothers Kevin and Luke Lerdwichagul in their Sydney, Australia bedroom, Glitch Productions (glitchprod.com) is a self-funded, independent animation studio seeking to change the way Western animation for teens and young adults is created. With a focus on internet-first IP, the studio backs cult hits like The Amazing Digital Circus and Murder Drones.

Dana Terrace is best known for creating the critically acclaimed Disney Channel animated series The Owl House (2020-2023), a fan favorite series recognized for its positive LGBT!+ representation. The show won the Peabody Award for Children’s & Youth Programming in 2021, and earned nominations from the Daytime Emmys, Annie Awards and GLAAD Media Awards. Terrace previously worked a as storyboard artist on Gravity Falls, Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure and The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

Knights of Guinevere is co-created by Terrace, Owen (story editor/writer/co-producer on The Owl House; writer for Future-Worm!, Clarence) and Marcus (staff writer on The Owl House; writer/storyboarder on Star vs. the Forces of Evil).
