This Wednesday, August 6, new episodes of South Park Season 27 continue following a brief one-week hiatus to encore the viral season premiere episode. New images have dropped along with an episode description to give fan’s the tiniest taste of what’s in store.
Logline: In “Got a Nut,” when Mr. Mackay loses his job, he desperately tries to find a new way to make a living. The episode also parodies Kristi Noem, the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.
The new episode debuts Aug. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, streaming the next day on Paramount+.
The S27 launch of South Park on July 23 scored Comedy Central’s biggest premiere in over 25 years. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stones through their prodco Park County recently inked a five-year, $1.5 billion overall deal with Paramount Global.
Co-creators Parker and Stone are executive producers on the series, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers. Christopher Brion is the Creative Director of South Park Digital Studios.
