This summer, amazing power comes packed into a tiny package in Super Charlie, the new animated feature in U.K. and Irish cinemas today from Kaleidoscope Entertainment. The action-packed family adventure from animation studio A. Film Production (Denmark) is based on Swedish best-selling author Camilla Läckberg’s hit children’s book series.
Synopsis: 10-year-old Wille has always dreamed of becoming a superhero and fighting crime alongside his police-hero dad … a dream which is shattered when his new baby brother Charlie is born with actual superpowers. When a supervillain and a deranged scientist enact their evil plan, Wille and Charlie need to put their differences aside and work as a team. But can an infant and his envious brother save the city?
Written and directed by Jon Holmberg (Sune vs. Sune) and co-written/executive produced by Läckberg, Super Charlie features the voices of Alex Kelly (Enola Holmes, Thunderbirds Are Go), Lucy Smith (The Magic Reindeer) and Paul Tylak (The Magic Reindeer: Saving Santa’s Sleigh, Bad Sisters).
